Omran Abu Alkhair

Mr. Abu Alkhair graduated from Zarka Private University in Jordan in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.  He began his career with Almohtaseb Corporation as an Oracle developer.  He spent six years in the Ministry of Education’s IT Department, beginning as a Senior Programmer, moving up to Senior System Analyst, and finally as Applications Manager.  He handled IT projects on a part-time basis with companies in various fields, such as education, trading, manufacturing, consultation, and construction.

In 2007, Mr. Abu Alkhair joined the UPP as the IT Coordinator and established the UPP IT Department.  In 2008, he was promoted to the position of IT Manager. Among Mr. Abu Alkhair’s technical and management skills are the following:  RDBMS - Oracle, MS SQL, MY SQL data warehousing and data migration Windows Server, Vista, XP and Mac operating systems, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, IT infrastructure planning and management, enterprise data center and telecommunications management, security policy and management, Blackbaud system administration.
