Established by the King Faisal Foundation, the University Preparatory Program (UPP) is a unique educational opportunity providing high school graduates with rigorous academic preparation that meets, or exceeds, entry requirements to top universities locally and abroad. Designed for students whose first language is not English, UPP offers English language training, skills training, and intensive academic coursework at the college preparatory level as well as the university level for students who qualify. All of UPP’s experienced faculty members are native speakers of English and hold higher degrees in their fields of specialization.

The University Preparatory Program is affiliated with Alfaisal University in Riyadh. It is developed, implemented and managed in collaboration with America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST), a nonprofit American organization that has provided educational services in the Middle East and North Africa since 1951.

The UPP is located in the Science Building of the newly constructed Alfaisal University.
