Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) contains electronic and print resources to supplement and enhance what students are learning in UPP classes and laboratories. Furnished and equipped with resources conducive to working independently or in small groups, the ARC is designed to provide opportunities for students to select what and how they want to study. Networked computers, complete with Internet access, support students in their homework, research, writing assignments, skills practice, exam preparation, and project work.

ARC resources include the following.

• electronic databases
• specialized software language learning as well as science and math applications
• novels, readers, and other English language learning materials
• professional journals
• reference books, including writing and editing guides
• Internet access
