Job Title: Instructor
Institution: University Preparatory Program (UPP)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Salary: US$45,000+
Start date: August 2009

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Positions are available for teachers of English as a second language, mathematics, science (biology, chemistry, physics), computer science, and study skills.

ORGANIZATION

The UPP is a year-long program providing high school graduates with intensive English language training, math and science instruction, and preparation in study/academic skills to ensure future success at competitive universities worldwide. UPP is sponsored by the King Faisal Foundation, affiliated with the newly established Alfaisal University, and developed and managed in conjunction with AMIDEAST, a private American nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
Master’s degree, a minimum of three years’ teaching experience, and native English are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

International teaching experience and previous work with nonnative English speakers is strongly preferred.

SALARY

Two-year contracts include competitive salary, furnished housing, monthly transportation allowance, airline tickets, paid summer vacation, health insurance, and more.
