school representatives in Riyadh,
Jeddah, Dhahran, Dammam, and Al Khobar (April 4 – May

April
20, 2007—Over the last few weeks, Dr. John Aydelott,
UPP Director, Mr. Patrick Bauer, UPP Administrative
Dean, Mr. Maher AlOtaibi, UPP Admissions Officer,
and Mr. Fadi Dahhan, KFF Education Advisor, have been
visiting schools in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dhahran to
talk with students about Alfaisal University and the
UPP. The visits have taken them to over 30 schools,
where they have spoken with hundreds of students preparing
to graduate and enroll in universities in Saudi Arabia
and abroad.
On describing his experience visiting
the schools, Dr. Aydelott stated, “I am very impressed
with the quality of the students we have met. They
have been eager to learn about private universities
and the options available to them. They ask good questions
and they want to know more.” Dr. Aydelott said that
in the next few weeks, he hopes to meet parents and
others interested in learning about Alfaisal University
and the UPP. He added, “We hope to have a very strong
first year class. And we should. There is certainly
