Update:  Competition Winners

The UPP Art and Photography Club initiated a new and hopefully annual activity for the Alfaisal University community.  An art exhibition and competition began on March 30 and runs through April 8.   The competition and exhibition are open to all students, faculty, and administrative staff of the UPP and Alfaisal University.

Displayed in the exhibition are original works in four categories:  photography, sketches and paintings, computer art, and miscellaneous entries.  For the best entry in each category a special prize of a gift certificate for a purchase at the Jarir Bookstore will be awarded.  For the best overall entry an iPod (120GB) will be awarded.

Full credit is given to the students in the Art Club for organizing the event, developing the guidelines for the competition, and setting up the exhibition.  It is hoped that the event will become an annual event of the UPP and Alfaisal University.
