UPP Students Donate Blood for Eid Pilgrimage

Seen in the photo are Future Medical Doctors Organization (FDMO) members who may, already, be saving lives.  These students donated their time and their blood, so that others in need might live.

It is with pride and gratitude that Mr.’s Steve and Steven commend the large number of FMDO students that went to the blood donor center at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) last Wednesday evening.  Virtually every student was successful in qualifying to donate during the evening.

Students participating in the event included:  Mohammod Shabllout, Imad Hazza Al-Moutiri, Mohammad Al-Hajazi, Hassan AlRami, Abdulrahman Al-Shdokhi, Faiz Harthi, Mohamed D. Ray-Zack, Mohammed Al-Shibi, Al-Taher Al-Faez, Abdulaziz Al-Obaidi, Ahmed Mikhay Al-Hawary, Hashem Shaltoot, Khalid Binsulaiman, Asim Ibrahim Abobakr, Fahad Ali Al-Damadi, and Fahad Al-Mazma.

The KFSHRC blood donor center had need to send 200 units of blood to Al-Meccah in preparation for the upcoming  Eid Al Adha pilgrimage and holiday.  Consequently, the staff at the center was very appreciative of the student’s unselfish donations.

Congratulations and thanks to all those that participated from us both.
