From May 20 through 23, Alfaisal University participated as an official sponsor in the Exhibition of Education and Training, organized by Madarat Alaridh Company. The four-day exhibit, designed to introduce students from the local high schools to a variety of higher education programs, was officially opened by Dr. Abdulla Ibrahim Al-Mujil, Deputy Minister of Higher Education.

A large number of academicians, students, parents and other interested persons attended the exhibition, during which educational programs, such as King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Saud University, and others promoted their programs and encouraged students to apply.

Representatives of Alfaisal University included Dr. Naif Al-Otaibi, Mr. Fadi Dahhan, and Mr. Abdurrahman Assuwailim. Members of the UPP team also participated. Dr. John Aydelott, Dr. Ala Al Bakri, Mr. Pat Bauer, Mr. Maher AlOtaibi, and Mr. Abdulaziz Al Subei attended the exhibit in order to speak with visitors and encourage students to apply to the UPP.

The representatives of Alfaisal University and the UPP talked to visitors and provided details about the university and its academic programs. They also provided clarification about the importance of the UPP and how it serves as a bridge from high school to university education. Dr. Aydelott, UPP Director, stressed that the admission process for the UPP is now open and he asked students and their parents to think seriously about the benefits of attending the UPP in order to prepare for the elite universities in the world, including Alfaisal University.
