“I know that being a student in the UPP is one of the best things that happened to me.  I am impressed with the highly educated native speaker
faculty, the highly organized program, and the excellent curriculum.”

Mohammad Al-Sibae, Medicine Pathway

“UPP has special faculty who were chosen for their high skills in teaching.  My advice for students who graduate from high school is to join this program; it is very helpful.”
Muhammad Al-Razzaz, Engineering Pathway

Newly hired faculty members attended a two-day New Faculty Orientation program from September 13-14 in the Alfaisal Palace.  In the sessions, new faculty were introduced to the philosophy of the UPP, its affiliates, its innovative curriculum, its resources, and the wide range of services and support available to both teachers and students.

Dr. John Aydelott, Director of the UPP, introduced the new faculty and two new administrators:  Dr. Mahmoud Abu-Joudeh, Assistant Director, and Mr. Ahmad AlBakri, Recruitment Officer.  The new faculty members consist of science and English language teachers.

Both returning and new faculty are attending an intensive orientation and preparation program, September 15-22.  The program introduces faculty members to curriculum revisions introduced after extensive review of the previous year’s curriculum, orients them to the new facilities and hi-tech resources at Alfaisal University, and begins a year-long dialogue about how to continually improve all aspects of the program for the benefit of the students.  The sessions all focus on delivering the highest quality of education in a team-oriented, student-centered program that uses advanced computer technologies to prepare students who plan to attend top-level universities in the Kingdom and abroad.

The new academic year for students will begin on October 11.
