UPP Students Attend Arab Science Exhibit

On Tuesday 15 December, the French Club took its first outing to an exhibition about the Golden Age of Arab Science sponsored by King Abdulaziz Public library and the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.  There were a series of displays about contributions Arabs made to various disciplines, to include architecture, math, music, surgery, pharmacology, and even calligraphy.  It was an interesting learning experience for everyone because the students and teacher helped each other better understand and appreciate the displays.

The first picture is a chart detailing the correspondences between the lunar and solar calendars and the second the attendees in front of a display on calligraphy.
