The UPP has planned a three-day orientation program for new students, October 13-15. The program contains sessions to introduce students to the UPP faculty, staff, and administration; tour the Alfaisal campus; learn about the UPP curriculum and academic policies; and become familiar with the academic advising system.
Students will be registered as official students of the UPP, receive ID tags and locker assignments, and receive UPP e-mail addresses. At the end of the orientation, students will receive class assignments and collect their textbooks.
During the orientation program, students will be assigned to faculty members who serve as academic advisors. At the UPP, every faculty member is an academic advisor. Academic advisors assist their advisees with all aspects of their academic development. The advising system is part of the UPP’s mission to be student-centered and to support students in every way possible.
