“I know that being a student in the UPP is one of the best things that happened to me.  I am impressed with the highly educated native speaker
faculty, the highly organized program, and the excellent curriculum.”

Mohammad Al-Sibae, Medicine Pathway

“UPP has special faculty who were chosen for their high skills in teaching.  My advice for students who graduate from high school is to join this program; it is very helpful.”
Muhammad Al-Razzaz, Engineering Pathway

Dr. Alan Goodrich, Provost and Acting President of Alfaisal University, explains Alfaisal’s mission to be the first world class Western-style university in Saudi Arabia

Alfaisal University held its second Open House on the evening of May 25.  The Open House focused on high school seniors who want to know more about Alfaisal University and the University Preparatory Program (UPP).  Like the first Open House, it was held at the palace of King Faisal, which is situated at the center of the Alfaisal University site.

UPP students were invited to the Open House to have a chance to interact with the university deans and to talk with high school students who want to know more about the UPP.  The UPP students provided insight into the program from their student perspectives, such as their positive interactions with the native English speaking faculty and the high quality curriculum.  Some students even brought family members  who are interested in Alfaisal University and the UPP.

Alfaisal University begins its first day of classes on October 11, and the UPP begins its second year on the same day.  The UPP will be temporarily housed in the Science Building, which will be completed this summer.
