Ambassador Theodore Kattouf, President and CEO of AMIDEAST, visited the University Preparatory Program on Saturday, March 1.  He spoke about AMIDEAST’s commitment to the program at an assembly of UPP faculty, administration, and staff.  In the assembly, Mr. Kattouf emphasized his belief in the value of the program and AMIDEAST’s commitment to making it successful.  He quoted research stating that the primary factor contributing to successful education endeavors is “the quality of the teachers”.

Ambassador Kattouf was in the Kingdom to participate in the Jeddah Economic Forum.  He took time from his busy schedule to check on the progress of the UPP.  While in Riyadh, Ambassador Kattouf met with His Highness Prince Bandar, officials of Alfaisal University, diplomats, and local leaders of businesses and industry.
