Counseling

Sometimes students have personal issues that prevent them from performing to their maximum abilities in the classroom. That is why counseling services are offered at the UPP. The Student Services Head, a trained counselor, works with students who need someone to talk to so they can relieve worries and anxieties. Basically, a counselor listens a lot, gives a little professional advice, and provides basic human support and encouragement. Counseling issues are incredibly diverse – ranging from simple test-taking anxiety to depression over the death of a friend.
